Operating in Cold Weather, Bat Belts and Five Bucks.

February 8th, 2010 · 1 Comment · Monday Minutes, The EMS Professional

This installment of EMS Office Hours brought up the topic of cold weather operations. Greg and Jim gave some tips on how to be prepared to work in this climate and stay both safe and warm. Morgan Lawrence author of The Streets Ran Red called in and gave his take on pre-planning and how that can also be key especially for certain patient populations.

Jim talked about his Bat-belt and how to save $5 bucks on the Pediatric Assessment Boot Camp and Dr. Anonymous and MsParamedic kept things lively in the chat.
