About our guest:

Rob Davis, RN, EMT-P, BSc

Rob Davis began his EMS career with a local funeral home ambulance service while still in high school in the early 1970s. In the last three decades, he has seen the job from every conceivable perspective. He's worked fire based, hospital based, military based, municipal and county third service, and private EMS at every level. Rob originally studied paramedicine under Dr. Bryan Bledsoe, whom he still counts as a friend and a mentor. He holds an associates degree in nursing, and bachelor degrees in biology and occupational health. Rob is a frequent contributor to EMS professional forums, and is currently on his second tour as an emergency nurse/paramedic for the U.S. Army in Iraq. Visit Robs' Myspace page at
